Offering courses on Fine Art Auctions and AML by the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers & Valuers

Welcome to the Society of Fine Art Auctioneer and Valuers Training Site

We currently offer two courses:

Introduction to Fine Art Auctions

The course is intended for those new to the industry, whether on the valuation, specialist or admin/support side. It provides an insight into the main departments of an auction house and also gives the opportunity to gain a basic qualification, on which you can build.

The course comprises a number of video modules and is completely online. It can be taken in its entirety (with the option of a final assessment with certificate) or only individual modules of particular interest can be accessed.

Anti-Money Laundering Training for Auctioneers
An introduction to talk you through Money Laundering and Art Market Compliance. 4 lessons to cover a realm of relevant subjects. A certificate can be printed at the end of the course, so this is very good for annual AML training.

These courses are currently only available to Members and Associates of the society.
